Sorobras is a Brazilian company specialized in the production of Fetal Bovine Serum (FBS) with full traceability, rigorous control, and biological safety, serving the research, diagnostics, and biotechnology sectors.

Sorobras holds the SIF seal (Brazilian Federal Inspection Service), a control system of the Brazilian Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Food Supply (MAPA) that evaluates quality standards in the production of animal-origin products, whether edible or non-edible.
The Self-Control Program (PAC) is a set of mandatory procedures that companies in the food sector in Brazil must implement to ensure the safety and quality of their products. In the context of the biotechnology industry and laboratory inputs, the PAC demonstrates technical rigor, organization, and commitment to Brazilian sanitary regulations, comprising three main components: GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), SSOP (Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures), and HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points).
Our products are exported using the International Sanitary Certificate, the official sanitary document (issued in printed or electronic format) by a competent authority for the national or international transit of raw materials and products of animal origin, in compliance with the applicable sanitary, technical, and legal requirements established by MAPA Ordinance No. 431, dated October 19, 2021.
